Upholstery - By Material

Natural Fibre

Cotton

A popular choice for upholstery due to its soft feel, breathability, and durability. Cotton is comfortable and resists fading, but it may be prone to staining and wrinkling, making it better suited for casual and moderate-use furniture. Blended cotton fabrics offer improved stain resistance and longevity.

Linen

Ideal for a relaxed and elegant look, linen offers a naturally textured appearance with excellent breathability. It is strong and resists pilling, but it wrinkles easily and requires professional cleaning for longevity. Linen works well in light-use areas or for decorative furniture pieces.

Wool

A premium upholstery fabric known for its warmth, resilience, and natural stain resistance. Wool’s durability makes it ideal for high-use furniture, and it maintains its shape well over time. Additionally, wool blends improve softness and reduce the risk of felting or pilling

Silk

A luxurious choice for upholstery, silk provides an elegant sheen and a smooth texture, making it perfect for formal and decorative furniture. However, it is delicate, sensitive to moisture and sunlight, and requires professional cleaning, making it best for low-traffic areas.
